From books, exhibits, and public programs to curricula, documentaries, and digital repositories, the Briscoe Center’s collections are at the heart of every project we undertake. Our collections inspire documentaries such as When I Rise, the story of Barbara Smith Conrad, and Cactus Jack: The Political Legacy of John Nance Garner. Our access and discovery efforts, including the Bexar Archives Online, the Rapport Legacy Project, and the Dan Rather: American Journalist use technology to enable access to our collections. And oral history projects delve into such topics as the history of the University of Texas and the Speakers of the Texas House of Representatives.
