Reading Room
The Reading Room houses Rayburn’s extensive personal library as well as a display of gifts made to Rayburn in appreciation of his public service. The collection contains a set of the Congressional Record as well as a number of books personally inscribed to Rayburn by admirers such as Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, and Dwight D. Eisenhower. The room features an interactive Archives Explorer, which enables visitors to view selections from Rayburn’s papers through a digital touchscreen interface.
