Always Hitting a Nerve: Editorial Cartoons by Ben Sargent, an exhibit at the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History, was a retrospective of the 1982 Pulitzer Prize-winning Austin American-Statesman cartoonist’s remarkable thirty-year career. The exhibit was drawn from the Ben Sargent Collection, which Sargent and the Austin American-Statesman donated to the Briscoe Center in 2009. Sargent’s publications and his personal collection of cartoonist’s tools were also included in the exhibit.
