Mr. Larry L. Harlan

Larry Harlan retired from ExxonMobil after 35 years with the company, serving in a variety of assignments including executive director of the Exxon Mobil Foundation. He has been active in numerous industry trade associations and represented the company in many of its philanthropic efforts. Mr. Harlan holds degrees in business from The University of Texas at Austin and Oklahoma City University.
Mr. Harlan is a founding member of the Director’s Circle at the Briscoe Center. His family created the Brian L. Harlan Memorial Endowment for the UT Austin Counseling and Mental Health Center to support and raise awareness of its suicide prevention program. Mr. Harlan also serves on the board of the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute. He and his wife, Nancy, make their home in Austin.
