There is no free visitor parking on the main university campus. Visitors to the Briscoe Center are advised to park in the Manor Garage. No permit is required to park in the garage. Fees are calculated based on the amount of time you are in the garage.
All university surface parking lots and campus street parking require permits specific to the area from 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. Outside of these hours, most spaces require any university permit with limited spaces open for parking without a permit. Caution: Read signs carefully. University parking areas use posted signs to note restrictions.
All visitors are required to follow the university’s Parking & Traffic Regulations if they are bringing a car onto campus. The Briscoe Center does not have any control or authority over campus parking and is not able to request a dismissal for patron parking tickets.
Due to various construction projects on campus, parking and traffic flow may be disrupted. Please visit https://parking.utexas.edu/news for full updates.
There are two ADA spaces available in the LBJ Library parking lot. A disability license plate or disabled person identification placard is required at all times to park in ADA spaces.
