This exhibit highlighted the four presidents with whom Rayburn served as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives—Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and John F. Kennedy. In addition, the exhibit featured images of some of the events and personalities that helped define each president’s tenure, capturing the interaction of the president with his times.
