Mrs. Theodora V. Boehm

Brenham, TX

Teddy Boehm was raised in Ledbetter in Fayette County, Texas. She graduated from Giddings High School, Blinn College, and The University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor’s degree in history. In 2001, she was awarded a master’s degree with honors in history from Texas A&M University.

Mrs. Boehm lives in Brenham and serves on the Blinn College Board of Trustees and as a past president of the boards of the Lower Colorado River Authority, the German-Texan Heritage Society, the Washington County Historical Commission, the Women’s Leadership Forum, and the Heritage Society of Washington County. She has also served as a member of the boards of the Brenham Economic Development Foundation, the Texas Academy of Family Medicine Foundation, the Washington County Goodfellows, and the Independence Historical Society, as well as a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, the Texas German Society, and Grace Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Boehm was married to the late Dr. Henry Boehm Jr., a former Briscoe Center Ambassadors Council member, for over 50 years and has four children and 11 grandchildren.
