Mrs. Ellen S. Bivins
Ellen Bivins is a native of Amarillo, where she is active in her family business, which includes ranching, oil and gas, and commercial real estate. Mrs. Bivins is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Amarillo Museum of Art, serves on the Texas Tech University Health Science Center’s Advisory Council, the Roll Call Committee for Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, and the Friends of Southwest Art at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon, Texas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from The University of Texas at Austin.
Ellen and her husband, Mark, have two children: a daughter who is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and a son who is attending The University of Texas at Austin. In her free time, she enjoys history, traveling, bird hunting, and skiing.
